Just Because You Love To Do It 02/19/2012
Okay, now that I have your attention I will get right to the point. Last month I wrote a story about the end of an ERA, the cancellation of All My Children, One Life To Live, Agnes Nixon and the Swan movement. That story got me an award at Yahoo. The story is called "The Day 60 Thousand Teardrops. Fell." I would love to see that story continue to circulate as it seems to have touched so many people in so many ways. Then two weeks ago I wrote, recorded and released a song regarding how I felt and how many other people felt about losing these shows. The song is called , It's Just Not The Same Without You." It became available as a MP3 download on Amazon. I heard that the song is doing very well. It is getting more likes and plays and downloads than any of my others songs to date. Can you imagine what kind of media attention the song and the movement would get if this song became the #1 downloaded song on Amazon? I would love to donate 1/2 the proceeds from the download sales to the documentary. Soap Life - A Documentary On Daytime Drama so by spending 99 cents on the download, you would be helping the cause two-fold, by raising the number of downloads for the song helping to get it to number one status and by contributing to me donating half the download sale to the documentary. It is a win, win for everyone. So please click on the link for the song and download it and then please let me know you did it by commenting on this page so I can have some idea of the pledge I can give to the documentary. Thank you for reading and for helping us save not just our favorite shows but a whole genre that will be lost if we don't do all these things to show that we really do want to save our shows and the genre. If you need to hear the whole song before downloading it you can hear it at: http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_11816628 CIAO ALL, Donna Comments02/19/2012 18:25
we want OLTL, I will never watch the chew or revolution. Days are boring since you took my beloved show off. Bring back OLTL.

I am still so very sad that I have lost OLTL. It is a sadness that I am having a very hard time over coming. I watched that show since its inception and miss it so. Unscriped shows just show lazyness on the part of the networks. It is so Unamerican that the networks would want to put actors out of work and hire untalented rookies to take their place. But I guess this is the new America money first and American wants second. So very sad!! Where is the starting ground for all the up and comings going to be? I just do not get it .

Yes it is very sad. We need these stories in our life's. I have watched since the first show and am lost without my daily 3 hr dose of "Love in the Afternoon" Lets keep fighting to bring back our soaps. I don't care if I have to pay to watch them.
