Who Says Nobody Wants Daytime Drama? 01/23/2012
We are watching our Tribute Song which honors cancelled Daytime Serial Drama's climb the charts so nobody can tell me that American's don't want daytime drama. I have got to tell you that the response we are getting for our song "It's Just Not The Same Without You," which pays tribute to cancelled Daytime Drama Serials inspired by the recent cancellation of "All My Children," and "One Life To Live," is knocking us off our feet. The response has been so overwhelming that we have had to put all our CD promotions for our newly released CD, "Love Story" , which was released on January 1st, 2012 on the back burner. http://www.insidethesong.com/store.html All our attention needs to be focused on the time sensative promotion and interviews on what now is looking like our biggest single ever which was released January 19th, 2012. I read over and over again from the people that are supposed to know what they are talking about (network exectives) that the average American no longer wants to be entertained by scripted programming. What a load of horse poop that is. Our Song, "It's Just Not The Same Without You, " is getting so much attention, praise, recongition and plays that it is pushing us to the top of the Reverb Nation Charts and getting so many likes on facebook that it is taking our breath away. Networks saying people don't want scripts drama is a load of horse crap and a complete lie! They say this so they can replace sdripted drama with with cheap garbage and think we will just go along with it! I know that I never said I didn't want to watch soaps again. There are a lot of us soap fans very sad because we can't watch our soaps. If we were not watching in the daytime it was only because some of us needed to work to support our families or just busy with whatever, but we would record or watch online. Please bring the soaps back! Even if it is half an hour oronce a week. It doesn't even matter what time or what channel. Shirley 01/24/2012 06:33
I dont watch the 2 soaps that are being taken off but know lots and lots of people do watch them. I never saw where we could vote. I watch Days of our lives and The Young and the restless. I am miserable without my all time favorite soaps.ABC took that pleasure from me.I along many helped Abc get where they are and this is how they repay us loyal fans.............That was my only time to relax and watch other peoples lives engage in their own battles.and I could laugh ,cry,or be left speechless at some of the stories. sinceraly yours a broken hearted misplaced ex-fan of ABC, pam 01/28/2012 11:32
