Happy March 1st, 2012 03/01/2012

I am so thrilled that March has arrived for so many reasons.  While we have had a particularly mild winter, it seems to have caused so many people to be sick for like the whole month of February.  March 1st means St. Patrick's Day is right around the corner and so is SPRING!!  Spring in my very favorite time of year.  It is a time of renewal and new life.  I am in the process of waiting for several articles to be published but while we are waiting I would like to dedicate this song to the NETWORK - ABC-  I will not be watching "Dancing With The Stars," again this season even though I love the show and miss it.  I have to stand tall and true to my conviction.  This ones for you ABC.  http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_10102696
Take a listen and share it if you like it if you wish.  You can get all my music at Itunes, Amazon and CD Baby!!
HAPPY MARCH 1ST!!

Just Because You Love To Do It 02/19/2012

Okay, now that I have your attention I will get right to the point.  Last month I wrote a story about the end of an ERA, the cancellation of All My Children, One Life To Live, Agnes Nixon and the Swan movement.  That story got me an award at Yahoo.  The story is called "The Day 60 Thousand Teardrops. Fell."   I would love to see that story continue to circulate as it seems to have touched so many people in so many ways.  Then two weeks ago I wrote, recorded and released a song regarding how I felt and how many other people felt about losing these shows.  The song is called , It's Just Not The Same Without You."  It became available as a MP3 download on Amazon.  I heard that the song is doing very well.  It is getting more likes and plays and downloads than any of my others songs to date.  Can you imagine what kind of media attention the song and the movement would get if this song became the #1 downloaded song on Amazon?  I would love to donate 1/2 the proceeds from the download sales to the documentary.  Soap Life - A Documentary On Daytime Drama  so by spending 99 cents on the download, you would be helping the cause two-fold, by raising the number of downloads for the song helping to get it to number one status and by contributing to me donating half the download sale to the documentary.  It is a win, win for everyone.  So please click on the link for the song and download it and then please let me know you did it by commenting on this page so I can have some idea of the pledge I can give to the documentary.  Thank you for reading and for helping us save not just our favorite shows but a whole genre that will be lost if we don't do all these things to show that we really do want to save our shows and the genre.  If you need to hear the whole song before downloading it you can hear it at:

Awarded Yahoo Hot 500 Writer for Record Breaking Daytime Drama Story 02/08/2012

I was notified yesterday by Yahoo that I have been dubbed one of the Hot 500 content writers for them.  I have to tell you I was shocked and honored at the same time.  I know you have to have a lot of reads and a lot of comments to receive this honor.  I also ironically found the award at my page about 6 hours before Yahoo emailed me that I had received this esteemed honor.  It was like finding out twice and made it twice as nice.  In exploring if it were one particular publication that had been getting all this attention, I have come to the conclusion by looking at the numbers that my article about the end of ABC daytime drama shows and The Swans and the The Swan movement have helped to earn me this honor.

I edited the article today to include the link to our very Popular song - "It's Just Not The Same Without You," which is  a song I co-wrote with my very talented co-writer, musician lover and life partner husband Greg Wilson.  He is singing lead in the song and ladies you can hear one of the reasons why I was attracted to this man.  I love a low deep vocal and gritty growl in my man singers and my husband has that in buckets full.  Anyhow, the link for my AWARD WINNING ARTICLE IS: The Day 60 Thousand Teardrops Fell - There is also another aticle getting tons of attention and that is: Agnes Nixon Received A Swan For Christmas - The song we wrote is getting more likes than any other song we have ever published in such a short amount of time.  Click the link to hear the song - IT'S JUST NOT THE SAME WITHOUT YOU and click like if you like the song.
That's all for now,
CAIO BABY

More Proof of What People Really Want in TV Programming 01/29/2012

Our song '- "It's Just Not The Same Without You,"  Inspired by the recent cancellation of All My Children and One Life To Live is standing strong at # 3 this week.  Less than two weeks after it's released the song being referred to as THE LOVE SONG for DAYTIME DRAMA is not only holding it's own but continues to climb the charts.  During the first week of the songs released it hit the charts at #14 and rose to #8.  This past week it went from # 8 to #3 on the local Tennessee Charts at Reverb Nation.  The Song has gotten more comments and more positive response than any song we have ever written besides, "Duty Called," which is a Tribute song to American Veterans.  We would like to thank everybody for sharing the song, enjoying the song and we are so happy that it could possibility help in dealing with the loss and grief so many hundreds of thousands of people are feeling at the loss of their favorite TV families.  If you haven't heard the song you can hear it by clicking on the link:   http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_11816628
If you are an American Veteran or have loved an American Veteran, you can hear that song and in fact see the music video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FYUXyCQ1no

Who Says Nobody Wants Daytime Drama? 01/23/2012

We are watching our Tribute Song which honors cancelled Daytime Serial Drama's climb the charts so nobody can tell me that American's don't want daytime drama.  I have got to tell you that the response we are getting for our song "It's Just Not The Same Without You," which pays tribute to cancelled Daytime Drama Serials inspired by the recent cancellation of "All My Children," and "One Life To Live," is knocking us off our feet.  The response has been so overwhelming that we have had to put all our CD promotions for our newly released CD, "Love Story" , which was released on January 1st, 2012 on the back burner.  http://www.insidethesong.com/store.html

All  our attention needs to be focused on the time sensative promotion and interviews on what now is looking like our biggest single ever which was released January 19th, 2012.

I read over and over again from the people that are supposed to know what they are talking about (network exectives) that the average American no longer wants to be entertained by scripted programming.  What a load of horse poop that is.

Our Song, "It's Just Not The Same Without You, " is getting so much attention, praise, recongition and plays that it is pushing us to the top of the Reverb Nation Charts and getting so many likes on facebook that it is taking our breath away.  This proves to us that there is a want, need and desire for LOVE IN THE AFTERNOON.  http://www.reverbnation.com/play_now/song_11816628  The song is currently available via download for 99 cents if you click the buy button on the above link.  The song is also available as a ringtone. We are currently awaiting the approval of the song to be sold via Amazon and will let you all know as soon as it is available there.

I was notified via email that Vincet Iriarry has posted our song on his personal facebook.    http://www.facebook.com/#!/vincent.irizarry
What an honor that was for me because he was/is my favorite ALL TIME MALE ACTOR on All My Children.  Folks Vincent is a fabulous photographer so make sure you check out is photography at http://www.facebook.com/#!/vincentirizarryphotography

The Day 60 Thousand Teardrops Fell 01/10/2012

The Day 60 Thousand Teardrops Fell
Donna Nolan-Wilson
, Yahoo! Contributor Network
It was Friday the 13th, a day over sixty thousand people had been dreading for a long time. They knew this day was going to happen. They had been warned. They saw it happen with that other town in eastern PA. They held out hope that it wasn't going to come to this but as the day drew closer and closer they had to come to the realization that the nightmare was coming true and that a second quaint town in PA was going to be wiped off the face of the earth just as sure as if an Atom bomb was dropped on it.

They all came together for one common goal. The love of this small town and all the wonderful people that lived in the white picket fenced houses that populated the tree lined streets. It seemed that no matter how loud these people screamed, cried, begged, plotted, schemed and protested they may not be able to save this town.

The Worst Afternoon in History

The hour hand struck on the two and the twelve and the last 60 minutes began. With every word, every glance and every breath that passed, the pain grew and grew inside the chests of over sixty thousand people that gathered together via electronic devices. The last five minutes were the worst. You could hear the sobs across the land and as the last words were spoken, the last words that were ever to be spoken in that small eastern PA town, the tears began to fall.

Sixty Thousand Tears tears fell from Sixty thousand eyes and from the tears a lake formed. A lake that was so full of love, emotion and passion that it took your breath away. As the sixty thousand eyes stood in front of the lake that their tears created out of the mist emerged this beautiful SWAN. Maybe it wasn't over? The SWAN gently made her way to the edge of the lake where sixty thousand stood and without speaking a word she made the people feel that everything somehow, some way was going to be okay. If this was created by her hand before, with the help of the sixty thousand tears, it could be created again. The SWAN sang a song of love and hope to the sixty thousand eyes. As long as there is love there is hope. The SWAN swam in the lake of love fed and protected by the tears until the sixty thousand could help her rebuild her towns of dreams.
